You and I tread the same path.
Though far away, I hear your footsteps fall beside mine.
Sometimes we climb cliffs together or leap in abandon on the sand!
Occasionally I become frightened, for yours is the softest of step.
But ear to earth I listen, and you remain, stride after stride.
For you are my Soul companion and, even apart we travel together.

The sun is setting in Florida.
Clouds are menacing but the horizon is bright.
I am propelled on this freeway, barely knowing the course
To a point I never imagined I’d be.
Freaked but excited, as I jet to this light;
It holds dreams confused and mysterious.
There is no boundary, no flight of time
Only a heart’s sure fired destiny.
And if I Iisten to this
I hold the enchanted key
To my happiness and to my Soul.
